Qestral Celebrates Six Major Awards in 2026

A landmark year of national and international recognition for Qestral’s approach to retirement living, aged care, design and innovation.

Qestral is proud to celebrate six major awards in 2026, recognising the quality, innovation and resident-focused thinking behind its villages, care environments and wellbeing initiatives. From national property and construction honours in New Zealand to international recognition at the Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards, the awards reflect Qestral’s commitment to creating places where older New Zealanders can live with confidence, connection and purpose.

Celebrating Award-Winning Village Design

At the 2026 Property Council New Zealand Property Industry Awards, Coastal View Lifestyle Village in Nelson won the Hawkins Multi Unit Residential Property Award, recognising excellence in large-scale residential design, amenities and community planning. Qestral also received two Gold Awards at the 2026 NZ Commercial Projects Awards: Ashbury Heights Care Centre in the Residential category, and Coastal View Yacht Club in the Tourism and Leisure category.

Qestral also celebrated two Gold Awards at the 2026 NZ Commercial Projects Awards. Ashbury Heights Care Centre received a Gold Award in the Residential category, recognising a care environment designed with resident wellbeing, safety and comfort at its heart. Coastal View Yacht Club also received a Gold Award in the Tourism and Leisure category, acknowledging the quality, complexity and resident-focused delivery of this important village amenity.

International Recognition for Care, Living and Innovation

Qestral’s achievements also extended internationally, with three awards at the 14th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards in Singapore. Qestral was named Operator of the Year 2026 – Residential Aged Care and Operator of the Year 2026 – Senior Living, recognising its commitment to quality care, independence, choice and wellbeing across its villages and care centres.

These award highlights the importance of choice, flexibility and confidence in later life, with Qestral’s villages designed to help residents maintain independence while having support close at hand when needed.

The third international award, Innovation of the Year 2026 – Health & Vitals Monitoring Solution, recognised Spritely: Independence Delivered. The technology supports residents to track and share health information from home, helping enable proactive monitoring, earlier intervention and more connected care.
